Employer Strategies

Companies are only as good as their employees.

International competitiveness can only be sustained with the help of highly-qualified, innovative and specialised personnel.

The question remains of how to find and, most importantly, retain good employees. Are traditional recruiting strategies still adequate for employers in order to remain attractive to this new generation in the long term?

To what extent have companies realised that a new generation of future employees is emerging from a different environment and with different expectations concerning work as well as life in general.

How are companies prepared for future specialised and executive personnel? Are companies already developing new recruitment and retention strategies?

What do HR managers think about the next generation?

What do they expect from junior staff and which demands are they making on them? Furthermore, have strategies already changed or are they projected to alter in the future?

Investigating these questions is the aim of the study „Recruiting the Next Generation". Research into the employers´ perspective allows for gaining insight into the interrelation of the labour market.
